hellooo !! sorry i haven't been "dreamwidth-ing" it for the past couple of days ... i've . well i'd say i've been busy and i suppose i have ? but my interest in "social media" ebbs and flows . this also isn't really a social media , so apologizing is kind of worthless and not at all needed .

besides from that !!!

i had my birthday party this weekend !!! me and four of my awesome friends all came to my house and ate pizza and had soda and talked and played board games . it was sososo fun !!!! they also all bought me presents ??? for some reason ?????? i am full of greed so i do not deserve presents . but still they got me them !!!

i got many many goodies ( candy ... and chapstick ... and perfume ... and a plushie ... and cute kitty pens ... and a wax melter with bees on it ) but the two standouts were , as anyone could expect from me , the house merch i was gifted !!!

first of all , one of my friends bought me a prop hospital i.d for wilson , which is now safely secured on my backpack !!!!


what's interesting about it is that this i.d is , as far as i remember , canon to the show ( despite the fact wilson is wearing glasses ???? which ... never happens in the show ????? ) but is also not the only one he has ? later , in season 6 , wilson is pictured with a completely different i.d . so , either the show runners forgot they had this one and remade it , or they put the thought into it and realized he'd need a different i.d for his return to the hospital . either way , this is a cool wilson fact ! which i love ! and i will be obtaining the other i.d at some point in the future somehow !!!!

( i also personally like to think he wears contact , hehe ... )

secondly , my other friend bought me a ppth t-shirt !!!!


sadly it is in the wrong size ( for some reason my friends seem to think i'm a large ??? ) but i don't like complaining about that sort of thing , and i could probably fix it if i tried hard enough , lol . i've wanted this shirt for a while , so i'm super happy my friend bought it for me without even knowing that !!!!

besides from my party , i've also recently found out more amazing news :

BLACK COUNTRY , NEW ROAD IS HOSTING A CONCERT IN OHIO THIS YEAR !!!!!!!



as far as i'm aware , this has never happened before , which is incredible luck for me , as i got into this band sometime last year ! the concert will be in june , and is near enough to where i am to where i won't need to book a hotel or anything ( as far as i'm aware ? ) so that's awesome ! if i do go ( which i am really hoping i can , since it's all ages ) , it would also be my first concert , which is huuugeee !!! i'm super super excited for this , and i can't wait for tomorrow to see how much the tickets cost !!! crossing my fingers soooo hard that i'll be able to go .

overall , that's really been all ! i suppose i finished an edit last wednesday , started my second feveruary fic and an animation meme ? but those are all more creative endeavors , not events ... but oh well !

Challenge #2: Pets of Fandom

around 2017, a cat from the neighborhood started just ... showing up at our house . i was pretty young back then , so i couldn't tell you what exactly happened , but before i knew it she was regularly coming into our house , sleeping with us , and her name was now becky ! ( i believe my dad named her after bucky from get fuzzy ? but i barely remember the comic ; just that she was named after one . )

today she was holding me hostage in my bed . it was very cute . i love her very much . i'm going to guess she's around 12 ? my mom says she just likes having a warm body to sleep on but i disagree . i think she loves me . we do the slow blink at each other all the time !

she has some sort of sinus issue , but because she's a stray ( and because its not the top priority of either of my parents ) she hasn't been taken to the vet yet . i think when i get my own source of income i'll try taking her myself , but there's always the super selfish fear that she'll either be taken away from us or she'll hate me for the rest of her life if i do , so i'm worried about it and her regardless ...

looking through dreamwidth , trying to see if there's anyone posting house stuff ... find someone who technically is ... i'm too scared to subscribe or anything !!! the person who anon told me they were scared to make a dreamwidth because of how old the site skews was right actually . i'm like a little baby by comparison and they might explode me on sight !!!!e

happy wednesday everyone ! i actually had to go to school today ... shudders

but ! first of all ... two of my friends gave me gifts ! one of them bought me a WHITE COAT ( n is buying me the wilson nametag thats on etsy ????? squee !!!! ) and the other one DREW ME ??? a picture of hatsune miku house !!!! i am sososooooo grateful for all the people in my life , i really don't deserve all this love ghghg ...

our entire grade also had a field trip today ! our school is apart of this career / college program that basically lets you get almost free job education , so all of us went to visit a college so they could talk to us about it . there r many different programs , and while i really want to be a librarian as my career path , i also enjoy medical stuff a lot , so i'm really thinking of taking their health careers program !

however ...

i also got a pen with a thermoter charm on it !!!!


i'd love it more if it was purple , but beggars can't be choosers ...

i loooooove thermometers sosososo much . like if i could have one item to base my "aesthetic" off of , it would be thermometers .

overall , i'm really happy with how my day turned out ! after school i had drama club as well , so while i'm tired , i'm content . an easy day after not being at school for so long !

today is my birthday ! yay !!! i am now officially 16 years old ... how odd .

since i did all my celebrating yesterday , and i didn't have school today ( snow day !! yayyy !! ) i've mostly just been chilling ... usually i get pizza and ice cream cake but because i'm holding a more proper birthday "party" next week , i'm probably gonna save the cake for then . but pizza on the other hand ? i am patiently awaiting to see whether or not my father will get me my favorite slice .

my favorite pizza is cheese pizza with alfredo sauce and stuffed crust from papa johns . their garlic sauce is so fucking good im drooling just thinking about it ...

anyway , i'm currently working on a wilsons heart gifset ! it's looking to be . maybe too many gifs actually lol .

after that , i'm going to tackle making some wilson / cuddy gifs because i love them n my friend adam reminded me of a few good wuddy episodes to pull clips from ! most underrated ship in the entire show tbh ...

i usually tend to celebrate my birthday on whatever day i have off nearest towards it , and i had today ( the nineteenth ) off , so i decided to make that my celebration day ! me n my awesome partner glass_of_orangejuice went to the mall n looked at a buunch of different stores ( after i forced him to stare at records and cds for like ... thirty minutes without buying anything , haha ) n got some good snacks n jewelry . then , because we both had abouut forty dollars left , i kinda dragged him to my local walmart and ...

i am sosososoooo eternally grateful to orange for getting me this !!! he's known how much i've wanted "the house cube" as we call it for ages , and seeing it in that store made my entire week . i know ( as my father proclaimed to me ) DVDS are pretty out of fashion at this point , but just having physical evidence of my fixations is all that matters to me . not to mention the bonus content !!! i can't wait to scrounge around my house for DVD players ... who knows , i may even be able to use this to make some super crisp 720p gifs ..?

hiii . this is my first journal entry ?? haha ??? except there's nothing on it . other platforms are a lot more professional and make me feel like i have to post some sort of important introductory post in order to use the platform , so i felt the need to do the same here , but after making my profile bio i just came up short on what the hell i should make my first post , haha ...
i guess if anyone just so happens to stumble upon this post and want to know what to expect from my blog ... lots of house m.d ! lots of hurt/comfort and sickfics ! lots of discussion about those two things , and fanfiction , and fandom , and more ! plus gifs . i love making gifs !!! i want to get into screencaps and icons as well , but my motivation is a fickle thing .
to be completely honest , part of me is desperate enough to just . go and make a house community . but doing such a rash thing right after i made my account would be . rash ! and the fandom is very much not active here , so i , an attention hungry modern internet baby , would barely cope .
but yeah ! sorry about the typing quirk btw . i think it makes me look more elegant , but it probably just makes me more annoying . and i'm already annoying enough .
